New CBA, New Season, New Look!

With the labor dispute resolved for the next five years, the Stars are happy to announce that they will begin the 2015 campaign on schedule. "It was definitely down to the wire, but we've been practicing throughout the negotiations and we'll be ready to win this weekend," team captain Brad Davis told a press conference.

High expectations for new signing Blas Perez
The organization has maintained a well-disciplined silence in the offseason, announcing only the retention of Baggio Husidic and Designated Players Brad Davis and Teal Bunbury. "Under advisement from our legal team, we were forced to keep it a little close to the chest. It was really hard to hold back the updates at times," commented the Stars owner, before adding, "I don't want any of the fans to think we were just being lazy of something. That absolutely was not the case."

SCSC kicks off the season this weekend against league mainstays, CD Gunners. The Gunners have proved to be a challenge for Second City in the past, but the new look roster should provide quite an interesting match up. "Obviously we want to watch out for Villa, but it's a deep team and they can hurt you in a number of ways," mused new addition goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth. "That said, we're not nervous. We're ready."

Second City will line up as follows:

1. Bobby Shuttleworth (GK)
2. Brad Davis (Captain)
3. Teal Bunbury
4. Baggio Husidic
5. Juan Ramirez
6. Blas Perez
7. Lovel Palmer
8. Fabian Espindola
9. DaMarcus Beasley
10. Justin Meram
11. Shea Salinas
